Unlike many other Possums, Sugar Gliders are social creatures. They live in groups varying in numbers of up to 7 adults plus their young. These Gliders live in a variety of suitable habitats that contain abundant food and hollows for shelter and nesting.
Their diet varies according to seasonal availability and includes nectar, pollen, acacia gum, sap of eucalyptus trees and insects. They can glide up to 50 meters. Their survival depends on the retention of interconnected habitats.
Average dimensions of the Wildlings are 65 mm x 45 mm.
