Eastern Grey Kangaroo

... with suckling Joey

Macropus giganteus

Eastern Grey Kangaroos belong to the family of macropods, meaning ‘big-footed’. They are herbivores, grazing in open grass land. The joeys stay in the pouch for several months, occasionally emerging for exercise.

Like their big brothers, the Red Kangaroos and other macropod species, millions are brutally massacred every year as ‘pasture pests’, which is sanctioned by the government.

Average dimensions of the Wildlings are 65 mm x 45 mm.
