Pademelon are medium-sized Wallabies, primarily inhabiting tropical and subtropical forests. They feed on leaves, fruit and seeds. The name Pademelon is probably a corruption of an Aboriginal word.
Apart from the destruction of their habitat, they are vulnerable to the predation of cats, dogs and the European fox and frequently become road victims.
Average dimensions of the Wildlings are 65 mm x 45 mm.
