Feathertail Glider

....feeding on Banksia flower

Acrobates pygmaeus

This mouse-sized marsupial is the smallest gliding animal in the world. Its complex habitat requirements, include flowering plants for its diet and mature forests for safety and nesting. These little Gliders also need companionship to thrive.

Sadly they often fall prey to introduced predator species like cats and foxes.

Average dimensions of the Wildlings are 65 mm x 45 mm.
